► Sepura SRM3500 Mobile The SRM3500 Mobile Radio is the most configurable mobile in the market today. It provides a solution to any operational requirement, thanks to its dual data, dual console and digital I/O capabilities. It can be configured for use in many vehicles including cars, trains, ambulances and fire appliances. As a standalone transceiver, it can be used as a data modem, for telemetry or for remote alarms. All the transceiver interfaces, including the console, are available for use by third parties. The SRM3500 is based on the 3000 series architecture and provides the same security features. It has been built to address security by including tamper proof security processors or a smart card connector. E2E encryption can be implemented by a software upgrade. The Sepura Common User Interface has been retained on this product, giving dual advantages of easy integration into existing fleets whilst minimising user training. The SRM3500, like all Sepura radios, has a unique feature: all text can be displayed in large format (double normal size) to give better legibility. During an emergency call the display will change colour from red to green to indicate to the user when the terminal is transmitting or receiving. The SRM3500 has been developed to support all data services currently specified in TETRA, namely Status, SDS, Circuit Mode Data and Packet Data. In order to support multi-slot operation and its associated high data rates, Sepura has designed the SRM3500 to support continuous four-slot operation, thereby achieving the maximum data rates available using TETRA. The SRM3500 is designed with an integral GPS option. In addition to the standard position reporting, the mobile can send its current GPS location when the Emergency Call or lone worker alert is initiated. Ensuring that the position of a user is known will enable appropriate resources to be swiftly deployed when assistance is required. ► Sepura SRH3800 Hand Held Range The SRH3800 hand-helds are the smallest, lightest, rugged hand-held radios available in the market today. Designed and built to meet IEC529 IP54 standards, they will withstand day to day use in some of the harshest environments found in the public safety, military, transport, and utilities markets. The SRH3800 hand-helds offer a large viewable display area of 6 lines of 24 characters. The high resolution colour display has a unique feature: all text can be displayed in large format (double normal size) making it easier for the user to read, such as when body worn or in a car kit. The battery fitting is both secure and robust, yet it is made so straightforward that, without having to look at the radio, the battery can be changed with one hand. To allow the user to continue immediately with their operations the handhelds return to their previous state after the battery change without the need to enter a start-up routine. The User Interface (UI) of the SRH3800 range is common to the Sepura product portfolio, thus reducing training requirements. It has been specifically designed for TETRA and enables the user to quickly access the features of the radio. Applications can send and receive information using packet data from data terminals such as a PDA connected to the radio. A lockable PEI connector is located at the bottom of the radio to provide a secure and reliable connection. The SRH3800 range has been built to address security by including a tamper proof security processor and a smart card connector. E2E encryption can be implemented by a software upgrade. The SRH3800 sGPS™ incorporates a highly sensitive award winning GPS receiver capable of processing extremely low strength GPS signals. This means that ‘clear sight of sky’ signals from GPS satellites are no longer essential and the GPS receiver is able to provide accurate positioning even in some buildings. In addition to the standard position reporting, the hand-held can send its current GPS location when the Emergency Call or lone worker alert is initiated. Ensuring that the position of a user is known will enable appropriate resources to be swiftly deployed when assistance is required. |
